Sitting opposite Henry Heath’s Hat Factory, Phileas J. Fogg is thrilled to have opened the doors to his new Hat Tavern & Gin Club on Soho’s Great Chapel Street. A gentleman of refined taste and a profound lover of hats, Mr Fogg had endeavoured to curate an establishment where he could share two of his greatest passions: the art of millinery and the appreciation of fine gin.
The Hat Tavern & Gin Club is an ode to the Henry Heath Hat Factory opposite, a space where fine gin and the art of millinery come together across two floors, transporting patrons back in time to the theatrics of the Victorian era.
The Hat Tavern harks back to Victorian Taverns of years gone by. Using exclusively reclaimed and antique panelling, flooring and artifacts we've endeavoured to create a space which feels like it's been there forever, filled with soul and character much like Phileas J. Fogg himself.
Hidden beneath the bustling Hat Tavern you will find the new Gin Club, an endlessly eclectic, layered space overflowing with bonnets, top hats and fascinators designed around the idea of Henry Heath's secret show room.
